On Ciara and Russell Wilson

rap-up.com

Recently, Ciara and her boyfriend Russell Wilson have been trending on social media. After pictures of Ciara, Russell Wilson, and her baby at the Seahawks' training camp surfaced, many took to social media to vent their opinions. Ciara's ex-boyfriend Future took to Twitter allegedly disapproving the situation, leaving fans to speculate about whether the tweets were geared towards Ciara. However, this is not the first time that Future expressed his concern about the issue. In an interview with the Breakfast Club on 105.1, Future explained that Ciara should not be bringing Russell Wilson around his son. Rapper T.I. along with many others on social media expressed their disapproval of situation.

No one should really be disapproving the situation at all. Future had three kids by three different mothers when he and Ciara were dating, and she had to deal with all of that drama when they were engaged. In my opinion, Ciara has made a huge upgrade. She went from being engaged to a rapper with a criminal history and multiple baby mamas to dating a God-fearing football player who makes weekly visits to the Seattle Children's Hospital and just signed an $87.6 million dollar contract extension with the Seahawks. On top of that, in a recent interview, Wilson expressed how God told him to lead Ciara in being sexually abstinent. It seems like Ciara has made the right choice. Future should only be mad about making a woman more worthy to be the mother of his child thank making her to be his wife.

Ciara's situation can be a lesson to all women. Never settle for anything less than God's best for your life. Women are queens and deserve to be treated like one. Sometimes we settle and compromise our worth and standards for a guy because we actually think that he could be "the one". The problem is that we do not trust enough in God to give us "the one". We let feelings and emotions guide our hearts instead of God's love. There are plenty of men just like Russell Wilson who are God-fearing; we just have to be patient. Do not settle for the guy who first tells you "I love you"; be with the guy whose first love is Christ. As it says in Proverbs 31, our worth is far above jewels.
